I realize that the squirrel incident was filmed before the move to New Hampshire. However, the work involved is quite interesting and informative.

For the past few days I had seen a “new” bird at my backyard feeded that looked like a cross between a junco on steroids and a miscolored robin. After searching my house over for my bird book I came on line and searched and searched images, and came up with this dramatic looking bird.

I saw a beautiful male Eastern Towhee today feeding on some scraps put out for the birds on the deck. I was in Pickens South Carolina. First one I have ever seen.
