As we hoped, a lot of work was done yesterday on the master bedroom closet. The shelf was added and most of the outer and inner trim was installed. All that’s needed is the finish work on the trim, the doors to the top shelves and to attach the main closet doors.

The handymen also started putting together the closet doors, which are affordable—but sturdy—sets from Home Depot. We decided to stay with white doors to match the existing trim and moldings in the two bedrooms.

I’m hopeful that we’ll be able to touch up the paint and move into our bedroom this weekend.
