The gents drywalled, taped and mudded the inner walls of the closets today. Now things are starting to take shape. Again, more photos of the progress.

You’ll note the holes in the flooring at this point. We can’t find an exact match of the flooring and we also don’t want to cover things up with ugly tiling. Our fix? We’re going to cut out the flooring the entire width of the threshold and put in a solid piece of oak flooring. That way, the threshold will look deliberate and keep the craftsman wood feel of the floor. The floors of the inside of the closet will stay as is.
