The Ginkgo tree has been planted
Well, our ginkgo tree arrived yesterday and I wasted no time planting it when I came home from work early in the evening.
I was even happily surprised when I unpacked it because it was a four-foot specimen that was much thicker than most saplings I’ve had mailed to me. Kudos to Nature Hills Nursery for sending a great looking tree.
The tree has been planted to anchor the southeast corner of our back yard, where we’ll eventually make a private little area with benches, flowering vines, a pergola and our wedding chuppah poles.
Here’s a photo of the new tree. It’s not much to look at now, but they never are when they first arrive. In time, it will be a gorgeous tree.
