Paul writes most of the posts ’round here, especially the bird sighting ones. But since he wasn’t privy to the latest visitor, it’s incumbent on me to write this one up.

We got our first GOLDFINCH! Despite the rain, he was happily chomping away at the finch feeder, which is hanging from the new bird feeder post I bought Paul (and Bouche) for Valentine’s Day. (It’s gift that keep ‘em both occupied.)

Cute little bugger — I hope he brings his friends!

UPDATE! No sooner than I posted this, I walked past the window to find our new finch friend brought a date! Yay! (The female is on top, the male is on the bottom. heh.)
