New name, but same great commentary
It turns out that a lot of random folks surfing the “Interweb” are finding our blog. (Imagine that?) We also found out that professionals and colleagues we speak with are also looking at our blog because it reflects a portion of our 21st century job skills, Internet acumen and, dare I say, editorial prowess.
So, we figured it was time to change the name to something with less of a scatalogical reference. It was a tough choice to give up such a creative name like The Hot Poop, but a command decision needed to be made and now we’re happy to present Blog de Puree.
We wanted a blog name that reflected the enormous variety of topics that we might be writing about, from a to z. We also like to cook–and eat. Hence the use of the word puree.
There is also a Simpsons episode we’re fond of that parodies Cirque du Soleil. Here’s a video of that scene on YouTube, in which the circus is called Cirque de puree. At the end of the circus scene, Homer demands his money’s worth and wants his inner child nourished. Heck, don’t we all?
While we can’t guarantee that your inner child will be nourished everytime you read one of our posts, we do hope that you’ll be somewhat interested in what either of us have to say. And like the French Canadians in the aforementioned episode, we don’t believe in refunds or exploiting animals for entertainment. And you probably won’t see a gorilla fired from a cannon either.
