In what is possibly the best fundraiser ever, we awoke to a yard full of pink flamingos!

Sponsored by a donation from our next-door neighbors (former band geeks themselves), the Amesbury High School Band created this festive piece of yard decor overnight. While the display is awesome, we will gladly pay (the non-required) donation to have them removed.

Apparently, the FLOCKINGS have been quite popular. Unfortunately for us, our neighbors timed this little prank perfectly. With Winter approaching, they are no longer taking reservations. So we can’t return the favor, well . . . not until next Spring! ::insert maniacal laugh here:: (I also think we’ll pony up for the “Flock-Block” insurance, so we can’t be FLOCKED again. Yes, there’s actually insurance as part of the fundraiser!)

Sure beats my old marching band’s fundraisers. Selling cartons of oranges sucked!
