Nothing much doing today, except that the electrician finished his rough work. There are still a few outlets, light switches and items that look like they need fixing, but I suspect he’ll wrap that up during the finish. We have a couple of working lights in the kitchen and dining room now for the interim.
The next step is to wait, and pray, that the Amesbury electric inspector will be here tomorrow. According to our contractor, there’s no telling when he’ll actually make it over. Our fingers are crossed for him to arrive real soon (tomorrow) so we can move on to the next phase–installing something called firestop, where they plug holes between walls and such to stop air from circulating during a fire, if that ever happens.
